WWE One Night Stand 2008 Free Live Streaming
One Night Stand is an annual professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). For the first two years the event featured wrestlers from the former Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) promotion, whose holdings WWE purchased in bankruptcy court, and was promoted under the ECW initials.The 2005 show was a tribute show to the original ECW, with most of the match participants being ECW alumni including those who were not under contract with WWE at the time.The 2006 edition, however, marked the kickoff to WWE's new ECW brand.While the 2007 edition became a tri-branded pay per view, the event's roots were retained as every match took place under Extreme Rules.
The Story
After defeating Randy Orton in a Steel Cage match at Judgment Day, Triple H will defend the WWE Championship against Orton again in a Last Man Standing match. Also, Shawn Michaels will face Batista in a Stretcher match; John Cena will battle John "Bradshaw" Layfield in a First Blood match; and, Jeff Hardy and Umaga will face-off in a Falls Count Anywhere match. From ECW, CM Punk, John Morrison, Tommy Dreamer, Chavo Guerrero and The Big Show will battle in a Five-Way Singapore Cane match, with the winner getting an ECW Championship match at the Night of Champions 2008. Edge and The Undertaker will also battle for the World Heavyweight Championship in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match, but if Undertaker loses he has to leave the WWE. Melina will battle Beth Phoenix in an "I Quit" match.
Dates and venues
It will take place on June 1, 2008 8:00PM EST at the San Diego Sports Arena in San Diego, California and will feature talent from the Raw, SmackDown, and ECW brands. The official theme song is "Hell Yeah" by Rev Theory.The tagline is "The One Night a Year When the WWE Goes Extreme."
