Widgetbucks is a BIG SCAM

I smell SCAM, my account IS SUSPENDED FOR NO FREAKEN VALID REASON! .. ITS ALL A BIG SCAM!! and yah they try to run away rather to solve peeps problems... Widgetbucks scam my $1000, that's a two and a half months earning (June, July and August 2009). I don't receive any email regarding the suspension of my account, they like to SCAM MORE. Lucky me, I always check my account twice or trice a month.

I've been with them for almost 2 years and they lost a good publisher. Here's a reply from Craig Simmons of Widgetbucks Support Center when I tried to reinstate my account.

Your account has been suspended for suspected click fraud while we investigate the activity. An email was deployed, but might be caught up in your spam/junk filters.

Please let me know if you have any additional information that might help explain the high click through rates.

I send them my traffic stat and stated that I'm using geo targeting (I'm sending, US, CA,UK, AU traffic). After 5 hours, I received a reply from Widgetbucks.

Our traffic quality team has investigated your account and found abnormal clicking patterns that are not consistent with normal traffic patterns, especially for your sites focus. As a result of these findings, we are forced to conclude that this was fraudulent traffic which merits indefinite expulsion from our network. We will not be able to reinstate your account.

I guess they did not even study or look at my traffic stat/site. I have an increase of traffic for almost 40% on mid of June, I'm running a kids/teen site, it's normal to get a higher ctr on this kind of site.

BEWARE of WIDGETBUCKS or MPIRE CORPORATION. ITS A BIG SCAM!! PEEPS DONT WASTE YOUR TIME IN THIS! I SHOULD LISTEN TO DIGITALPOINT PEEPS WHO ARE ALSO SUSPENDED FOR THE SAME REASON. YOU MIGHT BE EARNING TODAY, BUT HOW ABOUT THE FUTURE?

Widgetbucks, a Good Adsense Alternative

This month is my highest earning on Widgetbucks, I have been with them for 1 year now. See my earning for the month of October.

Currently I'm not maximizing the use of widgetbucks and only using the earning to pay my web host.

If you notice, the above image show that the earning increased on 20th of October : ) . This is because I only add widgetbucks ad 10 days before the month ends on my high traffic site (no adsense alternative). I still prefer using Adsense since I can get the payment thru Wertern Union without paying for the transfer fee.

Wow it’s getting worst

It's getting worst everyday, my widgetbucks RPC (rate-per-click) is decreasing, now I'm suffering again from .02 per click which worst than my adsense. Widgetbucks publisher was informed about this issue about 6 days ago, hope Mpire is working on to get those CPC rates back to their week-ago levels.

I believe Widgetbucks is still the best alternative to google adsense, galaw galaw baka ma stroke :D

UPDATE 4/06/2008: WidgetBucks' RPCs Rebounding.

Good news to WB publisher, RPC's is now back to normal. :D

Alternative to Google Adsense

Google Adsense is the current leader in contextual advertising to web publishers/marketer. I started using adsense since last year and earned decent amount from it, though I'm still looking for alternative which gives a higher CPC based on my niche.

I have an arcade site which is averaging 140 clicks per day and only earning 6$ to 8$ per day. Every arcade owner know how low is CPC(Cost Per Click) produces by arcade site. So I have decided to try widgetbucks which has a good feedback from a friend(Macuha).

Widgetbucks is a PPC based model and has a contextual algorithm automatically targets the right products for your site same as Google adsense. Their ads look great and easy to customize.

I just joined yesterday and already earned $11 today. I have not maximize the use of widgetbucks, that earning is only coming from 300x250 and 160x600(alternate with adsense) banner ads.
