In just a few days, the bout between Manny Pacquiao and Miguel Cotto will take place and many boxing enthusiasts are posting their bets on their favorite boxer. Now the question is who has the upper hand? Many speculate that it is still Manny Pacquiao who will win the fight but many also put their bet on Miguel Cotto. Let’s face it, both are great fighters but with Manny Pacquiao’s speed and strength, he is a great challenge for Miguel Cotto. Can Cotto deal with the speed of the PacMan?
Pacquiao may be a fast and strong boxer but the team of Miguel Cotto is not afraid. In fact, they take this as a great challenge and they know they will come out victorious in the end. Miguel Cotto knows that he is a great fighter and he fought with several huge named boxers in the past that are all fast and strong. They believe this fight is going to be very interesting and Cotto will be stronger and faster than ever and would shake the ground for Pacquiao. Santiago, the trainer of Cotto believes that it would be completely new for Pacquiao’s team to fight with somebody who is stronger and bigger than he is.

Floyd Mayweather resigned almost a year ago and keeping the title of the best pound for pound fighter in the world even though Manny Pacquiao is also given the same title. Mayweather was still unbeatable when he retired and now that Manny Pacquiao is gaining so much popularity in the boxing world, Floyd Mayweather is the next big fighter that Manny Pacquiao has to beat. But before Mayweather fights Pacquiao, he will return to the ring on the 19th of September to fight another great fighter, Juan Manuel Marquez who is a champion of the lightweight division and would have to move 2 weight classes so he can fight with Mayweather. Win or lose, Juan Manuel Marquez would definitely earn tons of cash from fighting the big guy.
Mayweather is the most sought after fighter now as fighting him means big bucks. He resigned unbeatable and now that he is back to fight again, would he still retain his title or would he fall on the hands of Marquez or will he get knocked out by Manny Pacquiao in their future fight?

Ultimate Fighting Championship 99 (UFC 99) :The Comeback would be held in Cologne and it’s the first ever event of UFC that will be held in Germany. It will be held on June the 13th and the main event would be the fight between Wanderlei Silva and Rich Franklin. Also, there will be a heavyweight bought between Cheick Kongo and Cain Velasquez. Cheick Kongo just replaced Heath Herring because of Herring’s illness that cancelled the fight with Cain Velasquez. It was already announced before that the two are going to be fighting each other but by May 20th, Kongo was announced to be the replacement.
The main event is between Rich Franklin and Wanderlei Silva who are both aiming to win after their losses. Franklin had lost over Henderson while Wanderlei Silva lost over Jackson at 205 pound weight divisions for both. Now both will be fighting at 195 pounds. This is a good thing especially for Silva who plans to fight in the 185 pound division. For a man his size, walking around at over 205 pounds, the transition to 185 pounds would be hard so having a weight in between the two before he drops to 185 pounds is an ideal transition.
The main card events for the fight are:
Rich Franklin versus Wanderlei Silva on the Catchweight division of 195 lbs, Cheick Kongo versus Cain Velasquez on the Heavyweight bought, Mike Swick versus Ben Saunders on the Welterweight, Marcus Davis versus Dan Hardy also on the welterweight, Spencer Fisher versus Caol Uno on the Lightweight division and Mirko Filipovic versus Mostapha Al-turk on another Heavyweight match.

UFC 98: Evans vs. Machida - Saturday, May 23, live on Pay-Per-View from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.. It’s a fight between the two undefeated champion Rashad “Sugar” Evans and Lyoto “The Dragon” Machida. With a combined record of 32-0-1, light heavyweight stars Evans and Machida have left a trail of destruction behind them that includes some of the greatest fighters in UFC history. Now in the main event of UFC 98, the two will meet in an epic showdown pitting champion Evans against challenger Machida to not only determine the best 205-pound fighter on the planet, but to see who leaves with a loss on their record for the first time.
UFC 98 was supposed to be a match between Frank Mir and Brock Lesnar, due to a knee injury, their fight was postponed and they were replaced with a fight between Quinton Jackson and Rashad Evans. Again, this fight wouldn’t be possible yet because Quinton Jackson too had to have some surgery on his damaged jaw.

The UFC 92 Ultimate Fighting Championship Fight 2008 is the ultimate event of the year to be held on December 27, 2008 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is the battle of the two most outstanding UFC fighter in their division today, the fight between the UFC light-heavyweight champion Forrest Griffin and the no. 1 contender “Sugar” Rashad Evans .
The co-main event will feature UFC interim heavyweight champion Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira against former UFC heavyweight champion and current number-one heavyweight contender Frank Mir. The winner of this fight will later face UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar for a title-unification bout in early 2009. The third main event will feature former UFC light-heavyweight champion Quinton Jackson against former PRIDE champion Wanderlei Silva
