With Manny Pacquiao’s unusual training pattern, several speculators of the Pacquiao vs. Margarito fight assume that the pound-for-pound king is confident in winning this match.
Pacquiao vs. Margarito
Pacquiao has been known for training extra hard in preparation for his fights. Even his trainer Freddie Roach could not make the Filipino boxer slow down. There were cases in the past that even his training partners could not handle the exhaustion but Pacquiao won’t quit especially during running exercises.
Pacquiao is set to fight the Mexican boxer Antonio Margarito at Cowboys Stadium in Texas two weeks from now. The WBO welterweight champion seem to be more relaxed which made boxing fans think that the boxer believes Margarito is not that much of a threat.
Like any other boxer who wants to know his chances of winning, Pacquiao must have watched Margarito’s previous boxing fights and had him all figured out. He doesn’t seem to be threatened otherwise he would have been more serious in preparing himself for the match.
Reports say that Roach had called his favorite student’s attention several times during his training in Baguio City, Philippines but he failed to listen. Pacquiao’s attention had been disrupted because of basketball games with his team called Team Pacquiao. In fact, as soon as he arrived in Los Angeles, California, Pacquiao immediately went to San Diego to coach the team in their exhibition game.
Rumors circulate that the Filipino boxer would also endorse a candidate in US who is aspiring to win an elective post. With all these social functions robbing Pacquiao’s attention, more and more critics predict that it would affect the boxer’s performance.
The popular boxer is currently undergoing the second phase of his training at the Wild Card Gym and is set to do a series of sparring sessions with undefeated boxer Vanes Martirosyan. Fans would have to wait for a couple of days more before they finally see the outcome of the Pacquiao vs. Margarito match.

Manny will surely win this battle. I see Margarito to be really big for Manny (not to mention a good fighter too) but the big question is, how can Margarito use his skills ang throw punches when Manny is too fast. Margarito will never see where this all punches came from. At the end Manny PHIL-PACMAN Pacquiao will knock out Margarito and another great victory for the Philippines again. The finest fighters of this era(1990-Current) are Floyd and Ricardo ‘Finito’ Lopez. If an individual selected Lopez through Floyd, I could comprehend, but saying Manny has completed more than Floyd is bordering on LUNACY. Manny fights shot fighters like Morales and Barrera, and RECYCLED Top Rank fighters like Clottey, Cotto and PLASTER Fingers. Cope with it.
