Nursing Board Exam Results for November 2008

To All nurses taking their Board Exam last November, the Nursing Licensure Examination (NLE) results are not out yet but rest assured that we will inform you once the results are published and available online. Do visit our site regularly for the November 2008 nursing board exam results.

UPDATE: February 20, 2008
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that at least 44.51% or 39,455 out of 88,649 examinees passed Nursing Licensure Examinations for November 2008 given by the Board of Nursing.

Promotional Central SEO Contest is Over

After a number of sleepless night, backlink building and spamming, Promotional Items Corporates Gifts Srednarb SEO Contest finally comes to its end.  Today Alfred announce the list of winner on Promotional Central website. I managed to get the 3rd overall position of the contest, here's the summary.

What I learned...

  1. Start as early as possible, don't get lazy!
  2. MSN can't read 301 redirect to non-www using htaccess. I've waited for two months to take effect but nothing happen, though I'm still lucky that I manage to get the #2 rank  at the end of the contest.
  3. Yahoo has a problem on ranking a website which is currently listed on Yahoo directory. Don't redirect (301)  your domain to you contest entry, NOYDIR seems not working and contiues to ignore by yahoo bot.  I added 301 two weeks before the contest end and my rank decreased and almost vanished from the first page . I decided to take off the 301 redirect two days before and luckily again I finished rank 5 though my Google decreased by 1 rank.

So, as you can see, I am  glad having do quite good, but mostly I am glad that so many people gave their unconditional support. Tadadadannn.. No one know who will win the promotional items corporate gifts srednarb SEO contest on Google, after a week of being #1 on Google ranking, my site feel lonely on top and decided to give way. Now my site is rank #2, I'm not sure when will my site realize the prize money at stake and how the money can help me buy a new desktop computer. Weeeeee...

As of the moment I'm trying my best to help the ranking, and I'm doing it as fast as possible because there are only 6 days before the final judgement. Come on cheapromotionalproducts.biz, show me your strength!

With only 6 days left, anything is possible to get the #1 rank again. Just need to focus and more work.

Promotional Items Corporate Gifts Srednarb

Promotional Items Corporate Gifts Srednarb is a local SEO contest started last September 22, 2008. The aim of the contest is to rank high for the specific keyword phrase on the three search engine (Google, Yahoo,MSN). I joined the contest to test my SEO skills, get more experience in optimizing static page and be updated with some new link building method. The new link building method I'm using was actually not new, but it's my first time using it.I will not reveal but you can check my backlink on promotional items corporate gifts srednarb and it will reveal the method.

We have 3 more weeks or less to optimize the site, and I'm still seeing some bookmarking site rank higher than the official entry sites. If you are targetting the overall ranking,  I think is not a good sign.

I've been looking for my entry to get on the first page of G result because I can't believe why some ordinary rss feed or bookmarking page rank higher than my entry site. I think G hear my sentiment and for 2 days my site http://cheappromotionalproducts.biz got the #2 rank. See the screenshot from the official SEO contest site.

Penalized by Google

Since Google started implementing the new algorithm name Dewey last February, a lot of site owner, SEO'er, webmaster and blogger experienced the notoriousness of G when it comes to site penalization. Rankings and indexed pages across data centers have been fluctuating which causes some e-commerce site, money making site loss their revenue.

Google’s Matt Cutts has responded to the issues raised on Google Groups discussion on site penalization, and he pointed out that the various Google penalties is associated with bad linking. This is the unusual ways of collecting backlinks, for example paid for review blogs, and template sponsorship.

Matt Says:

ShyBoy, have you been collecting backlinks in any unusual ways? It looks like you may have, and I would pay special attention to that. For example, if you had been attempting to get PageRank via paid links on various templates, then when that PageRank stops flowing (e.g. if Google improves its detection in various ways), the fact that you have less PageRank can also mean that a site won’t rank as well.

If that applies to you, my advice would be to pay special attention to that issue, in addition to the other good advice you’ve already gotten.

Now I'm confused, didn’t Matt Cutts already state that someone linking ‘to you’ can not affect you. But with regards to the other way around, then it can? What if someone added your link as sponsor on template? What if someone added your link on sponsor for review site? How do they know if this is a legit linking?

Currently I joined Busby SEO Challenge, and after a month my site got penalized. What I did is 3 way linking, blog commenting (not blog spamming) and that's it. My theory why my site got penalized, is not because of bad linking but because of fast link building, though I've seen some competitor doing the same but not get penalized. Google always caught me with my method, still thinking the best way to build backlink fast without G penalization. Simple penalization can easily neutralize by working on good backlinks and some onpage optimization.

New SEO Challenge by Busby Web Solutions

After having performed pretty well during the SEOContest2008, my wife convinced me to participate again in a new seo contest "Busby SEO Challenge". At first my reply was a "no" because of the pending projects I'm currently working but later on I said "yes, i will try". Hehe.

New SEO Challenge has been launched by Busby Web Solutions. The rule of the contest is simple: get to the 1st position in Google’s SERPs (Google.com) for a search on keyword Busby SEO Challenge before the 31st of August, 12:00 midday, Perth, Western Australia and you’ll be rewarded with a $5,000 prize.

Summary

Set up your own website and optimise it for the key phrase we announce on 1st June 2008. Welcome to the Busby Web Solutions Search Engine Optimisation World Cup!

Entrants will be given 3 months to use their best endeavours to optimise a key phrase so that it appears as high as possible on www.google.com, when that particular key phrase is searched for. The winner will be the person whose site is ranked the highest, when that particular key phrase is searched for, on 31st August 2008, 12:00 midday, Perth, Western Australia. The runner up 2nd and 3rd place prizes will be awarded to those two entrants whose site is ranked the second and third highest.

REWARDS
First prize: $5,000
Second prize: $2,000
Third prize: $500
